ART, ART, ART, ART, music, movies, FOOD, FOOD, FOOD, FRIENDS, FRIENDS, FRIENDS, animals, stuff, more stuff and everything that goes under the heading.....stuff, myself, shopping. TRAVEL, TRAVEL, TRAVEL. I forget anything else right this minute.

My all time favorite movie is 2001, then there is, An Unfinished Life,Close Encounters of the Third Kind,Shaft (1971,Richard Roundtree), WAY TOO MANY OTHERS TO MENTION, BUT I LIKE SCI-FI, ROMANCE AND JUST GOOD "PEOPLE" STORIES TOO.

Enya, Kevin Kern, Suzanne Cianni, Taliesin Orchestra, Mary Fahl, Pat Metheny, Enigma, Sara Bareilles, Delerium, Zero 7, Coldplay, Alphaville, Clannad, Davi, William Orbit, Adiemus, Fergus Currie, Sarah Brightman, FC Kahuna, 2002, Deep Forest, Allison Krause, October Project, Mandy Moore, Moya Brennan, Attic Trax, Vangelis, Secret Garden, The Housemartins, The Januaries, Outkast, The Cranberries, The Moody Blues, Chumba Wumba, Smashmouth, Davol, George Winston, Vince Guaraldi and let's not forget QUEEN!!

Winter's Tale by Mark Halprin - Stephen King's The Stand, The Shining, The Dead Zone - Michael Crichton's Sphere, The Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park - Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse 5, Gravity's Rainbow - Larry Niven's Ringworld Series, The Integral Trees, The Smoke Ring. WAY TOO MUCH TOO MENTION, but my first love is SCI-FI

Doing my art, listening to GREAT music and having fun with friends!!!

STUPIDITY (WHICH INCLUDES "NOT" BEING ABLE TO SPELL AND USE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE), ARROGANCE, POMPOUSNESS, EGO-CENTRICITY, RUDENESS and last but not least.................GUYS WHO "ARE" ALL THAT BUT KNOW IT AND TRY TO SHOW OFF THEIR "ALL-THATEDNESS" TO EVERYONE...............PLEASE, GET A LIFE.

My name is Cary and I am here for friendship. I have until recently been looking for my HEARTS DESIRE and I have found him. It has been a journey of self discovery and eventually self awareness. There are many times in a person's life when the "inevitable" strikes.....HARD. This is true in my case with the man I have fallen in love with. I am in LOVE, I am COMPLETE and I am HAPPY. We will eventually build a life together, that is a given, we know this. I have made some great friends here on GUYS and they are a wonderful group of people. They each make up a facet in the wonderfully complex and gem like order that is my life. A few of you (and you know who you are) have all grown to become very important in shaping me, what moves me and what I will eventually become. My dearest love, Roberto is the light that creates the sparkle, the cut and the clarity that is my being. He has my heart, he has my life. So, with all that said, please become my friend, one can never have enough friends or loving support in this crazy, chaotic, maelstrom of existence here on Earth. Come, there is room at my table for anyone who would share with me. Write to me. Inform me. Enlighten me. Let me know who you are. Walk with me, be my FRIEND. Let's all take the journey togther.

Good written profile, Cary. Am new around here and though I've typed up some standard fare, behind it I am hoping for something akin to what you've spelled out (especially the long warm hugs/cuddling aspects). I just seriously wonder if it is possible. I opt for making new buds instead and from that platform, I see if something more can develop.

I've read a little Michael Crichton and have enjoyed the smooth rifts of Vince Guaraldi. "Great Pumpkin Waltz" gets heavy attention on my iTunes.

Wish we were local, I'd ask you out to coffee.

Hi Cary,

Sorry for late reply. I did not know this site had such message features, and obviously I rarely visit it, but went online today to update my pic because I recently removed the beard. Hence, I saw your post from July.

Yes, I like Seattle, and I do have rhodies in the yard. They are hardy. How many flowers they blossom depends on how well you watered the rhody the year before.

Hope all is well at your end of the world.

Jay

Boy,

you LUCKY guy you (not into luck really, probably took LOTS of hard work for you to get where you are in life, but...) I would LOVE to live in SEATTLE!!!  I visited there when I was 12 years old, with my parents and I TOTALLY fell in love with the Pacific Northwest!!!!  I remember how BIG everything was out there!!!  My aunt lived in Longview.  She and my uncle drove our family up to Seattle to visit my folks old hs chums and I remember these "trees" along the highway with these HUGE, magenta-red flowers on them.  I asked my aunt, "hey, what are those pretty TREES out there with the flowers on them?" She then answers, "Oh Cary, those aren't trees, those are RHODODENDREN BUSHES, silly!"  HELL!!  Those BUSHES were freakin 20 feet tall!!!  Man, that still seems like yesterday.  Sorry for rambling, just a good memory from childhood about my favorite part of the USA.  Nice to meet you.

I see...didn't mean to upset you.  Just didn't understand what you were asking.  You certainly are the creative one.  Like the beautiful art!

Dude,

it was a JOKE, ok???  Just wondering if I need to do something "special" to get you to TALK to me.  That's all.  Nevermind.

Thank you Cary.  When I read that quote form the book, I thought, "Wow! That's me.  That's exactly how it was with me."  So, I had to share it.  I hope that it will help others who may be apprehensive about sharing their truths to realize that they are not alone, that we have all been there.  Thanks again and best wishes to you...Alan

VERY NICE statement about becoming "FREE" once a gay man learns to accept himself and the BURDEN IS LIFTED.  I totally agree and I commend and applaud you.  My name is Cary.  Nice to meet you.
