I love movies of all kinds, even the extremely occasional "chick flick", hehe. Loved the Transformers movie. It was wonderful to see my childhood toys "come to life" on the big screen! I also like foreign films, especially Spanish such as El Laborinto del Fauno (Pan's Labrynth) and modern Kung Fu flicks like Hero, which probably has the most beautiful cinematography ever. It is truly a visual masterpiece full of vibrant landscapes. I also loved Braveheart, The Notebook, Finding Neverland, and For the Love of the Game. And when I was 12 or 13, I think I memorized the Karate Kid in its entirety, hehe. I ended up taking 5 years of martial arts during my lifetime, probably because of this movie!
I recently went to see Mongol. It concentrates on Temudgin's AKA Ghengis Khan's early years and ends when he had united Mongolia. How did the son of a nomadic clan chief beyond the reaches of "civilization" learn and develop the skills necessary to conquer an empire larger than the world had ever known and to inspire people to follow him? What events and relationships influenced him and provided motivation to do so? Since it was a film and not a documentary, it romanticized him a bit, of course. There may have been a little hero worship going on, but I thought it did a fairly good job of putting him in context of Mongol traditions and culture of the time and telling a remarkable human story, if the general outline of his early life as laid out in the movie is true. Even if it's not, it was certainly an entertaining movie and incredible to think what he accomplished! Worth a watch in the theater, if you get the chance.
I also saw the new Batman, of course. The series keeps getting better and better. These last two films (Batman Begins and The Dark Knight) were definitely better than the others, more philosophical, exploring the nature of man. In this one, Heath's performance as the Joker is not what one would normally consider as an Oscar worthy performance, drama's tend to rule there, but he DID do a fantastic job bringing the Joker to life. He gets my vote as the best Joker to date...portraying him as incredibly intelligent, yet certifiably mad. As far as comic book characters go, he was a reasonably believable, fantastically creepy, and as humanly demonic a character as I've ever seen in a comic book to film adaptation or just about any other movie for that matter. Heath's Joker could exist in the real world, despite the obvious comic book flair and makeup. In fact, elements of the Joker's persona reminded me of those fanatics currently targeting America who take delight in causing pain and agony in non-Muslim innocents or even while suffering it themselves. The why of all this is the philosophical part of the movie, which I will leave for you to figure out and think about when you see it. The movie is much more intellectual and deep than one might think a comic book movie would be. The movie and Heath's Joker is worth the hype, seriously. I was completely impressed by the film en total. The entire theater clapped at the end, which only happened a couple of other times at movies I've seen. Can you tell I (we) enjoyed it? If you haven't...go see it.

Hmm...my music collection consists of everything from classical to rap...yes, believe it or not I like rap. I like its aggressiveness, which is perfect for working out. But, I also like many other styles including pop, classic/modern/hard rock, country, R&B, jazz, and some classical. I truly listen to it all, depending on the moment.
You're probably asking, what about showtunes? There's a funny story about that...I had just come out and started playing gay softball in 2003. I then went to my first gay tournament in Chicago for the 4th of July weekend. After the games the team and I went to Trax, a local gay bar, and it was showtunes night. The ENTIRE BAR full of hundreds of men was singing along to song after song that I swear I had never heard in my life!! It was one of many surreal "gay moment" firsts for me that year, LOL. So no...don't really listen to showtunes and yes, I still have my gay card. ;-)

Confidence and assertiveness, passion, intelligence, and a good cook. It's a shame I don't know how to cook, because I love to eat.
A good kisser who knows how to express tenderness and love with his lips and tongue are a must!
Deep, expressive eyes will melt my heart always!

Smoking, long hair, and generally facial hair, though I have found some men to be attractive despite it.

I'm a romantic and passionate lover. Sexually, I am as versatile as can be and I love long, slow, gentle yet intense, love making. I also love to kiss, cuddle, caress, and gaze into my lover's eyes, even when not in bed. Romance me, kiss me, love me, lightly tease my nipples and watch me melt. Looking for a LTR, but willing to play until then.
I don't smoke or do drugs. I'm very clean cut and I'm looking for the same. I tend to be attracted to men in their late 40's to mid-60's, short hair and clean shaven. I like my men to have some meat...whether it's muscle or otherwise, makes no difference, though I am not normally attracted to extremely chubby or overly muscular men. In fact, you could say I like my men a little chunky. However, there have been exceptions to all the above. For me, it seems it's all in the face. If you're attracted to my pics and this profile, shoot me a note and we'll see what happens.
